Zee Avi - Anak Watan M'Sia Boleh!!

Haha, just fallen in love with her seconds ago. I was watching MTV and it pops out a total stranger namely Zee Avi. Much to my surprise, she's a Malaysian!!! (Which i believe the last one is Chanelle)

One word would clearly describe her style, authentic or else, those you have never heard before. Not much of a blabbering, we shall indulge in some never-heard-before-jewel-of-M'sia.

This is my favourite, honey bee, an inner struggle to break free from the norm.

Bitter heart, her first single of which can be bought through iTunes

Kantoi, the famous Malaysian rojak languages, look how she delivers this cocktail.

The Judgement Day

Gone were the day to sow for victory, we have to but reap fruitation (rotten or fresh) now.

I myself have done a small tabulation and analysis of data to clarify where I stand. Sadly, top 10 is out of the question but harnested a hypothetic 12th. Haiz.... But look in the bright side, it is still an petty amelioration (abusing the word again) which I would take it as a consolation, haha.

There is one person I need to point out for good, of that is Miss Goo. My god, she is a genius. Coined by our Chemistry teacher, never in her brief few years of career life as a teacher had she encountered with a girl with such a mastery of science subjects. I mean, not to be a sexist, but in general women are a bit weaker in science and math but rather excel in humanitary subject. This chick nailed both, lolz.... In this term, she manage to score 90 n above in three Sciences, 95 n above in both Maths and 100 in History, twice consecutively.... (Currently holding the title of Best Academic Performance, Best Physics, Best Biology, Best Additional Mathamatic---in rival with Mr. Ong, Best History and Best Chemistry---in rival with Mr. Kok)

Drawing to a much relatable margin, the competition in rank 8 to 11 is tight.

Again, rough calculation in average marks
8th, Miss Jill manage to score 82. 82
9th, Mr. Ong got 82.72
10th, Mr Ang got 82.70
11th, while Mr. Teh achieve 82.67

And fortunately, I have just outdone Mr. Chuah by 0.014 (average)....

P/S: All suggestion remain uncomfirm, any correction will be further adknowledge to the greatest possible accuracy, I am apologetic for any bogus attempt.

ASEAN Test Aftermath

Venue: Sunway Carnival Convention Centre

Date: 6-7 Jun 2009

Aim: To Get That Freaking Scholarship and Swept My A** Off M'sia

Result: Undefine (not looking good)

Moral of The Study:

It a sad tale of a Malaysia desperately wanted to get out of his country.

I've applied for this particular scholarship in April, two months prior. The good luck charm kisses when I received the letter from S'pore Ministry of Education in order to take 3 test to assess my ability. Test involved including Math, English and General Ability.

The math test in general is quite hard. It involves certain question which is out of our syllabus (yet) and of course some are purely head cracking. On the other hand, I found the english test quite mind opening. Its not hard, but education. The context coined depicts authors view on sexual equality which rarely were discuss within our nation. Question asked would challenge student in a very wide range. Should one excel, he or she must have decent vocabulary, textual sensitivity and ability to adhere what the question asked for (again, unlike our country who demands repetitive writing).

One more exciting test would be the general ability paper. For those who are still perplexed by the test, it actually means IQ test. The test is mainly on visual spatial and graphic sequencing which are my favourite and i do think i've done a decent job. However, corresponding to how i did in my math test, the chance of being granted such pretiguous scholarship would be negligible. But if it is so, i will also be delighted. There it goes, shall the better one wins (again and again, unlike our country).

The aforesaid pertain, why would a healthy, normal citizen aspires to get himself out of the country, the so called peaceful and harmonious country. It thus has digged in the functionality of a system. Punctual, prompt we craved for had indeed perfectly executed by the Singapore authority. The way they scrutinize the whole examination is worth praising for. Not only did they be able to achieve their goal with minimal delay, they have also set up a margin of loss to cover up any flawed time management. Which in contrast to our country, it is pure disastrous.

Paparazzi - Lady Gaga

AN Apology for not writing for a long period of time, a valid explaination would be I have to prepare for the ASEAN Scholarship Prelimenary Test. (God damit the math test is hardcore)

I am certainly hooked up by a single lately, Paparazzi from Lady Gaga. The only slow rhythm song i've ever heard from her but with the present of heavy beats. Curtesy to avoid any sort of law infringement (I deem), we are prohibited from viewing her 7 minutes music video (found one, but in crappy quality).

Here is a fan-made video with lyrics
